Eastern Mediterranean University Masters And PhD Scholarships 2024/2025 For International Students

Each academic semester, students who will enroll in their respective programs for the first time during the relevant semester may apply for scholarship opportunities. The applications are made during the online program application.

International students can apply for 100% and 50% scholarships for PhD programs and 50 % scholarship in Master’s programs.

Requirements for Eastern Mediterranean University Postgraduate Scholarship Qualification

In order to apply for these scholarships, applicants must follow the given criteria

The minimum requirement to be considered for 100% scholarship is 3.00 (out of 4.00) or higher undergraduate graduation CGPA.
The minimum requirement to be considered for 50% scholarship is 2.75 (out of 4.00) or higher undergraduate graduation CGPA.

College Application Requirements:

Test Requirement: GRE (mathematical) = 610 or GMAT= 450 are equivalent to ALES=55. In some programs additional requirements may be expected.
English Language Requirement: All applicants for whom English is a second language is required to present a recent TOEFL or IELTS score or to pass a proficiency examination organised by EMU.

 

TUBITAK Scholarships for International Students

Scholarship Amount: A monthly stipend of ₺2,500, travel costs, and health insurance coverage.
Eligible Degree: Graduate studies and Ph.D. degrees

For those wishing to pursue a master’s degree in science, the arts, or a doctorate in Turkey, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) awards scholarships. They encourage these aspiring professionals from around the globe who decide to study in Turkey. The four years required for a Ph.D. and the two years of the graduate program will be covered by the scholarship.

International students who hold a blue card—a document allowing non-Europeans to work, study, or travel—must be eligible for this scholarship in Turkey. Graduate and doctoral students had to be registered in a program at one of the nearby universities, as well as enrolled in any course.

Üsküdar University Scholarships

Scholarship Amount: Full or partial tuition fee coverage, at least 1000TL monthly stipend, allowance
Eligible Degree: Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees

International students can apply for undergraduate and graduate scholarships from Üsküdar University. Among their numerous awards are the Preference Scholarship and the First 5 Preferences Scholarship, which provide partial tuition reimbursement according to the applicant’s preferred university as listed in the ÖSYM handbook.

The Measuring, Selection, and Placement Center is what the acronym ÖSYM stands for, providing background. In Turkey, this system manages admissions and exams for universities. As mentioned below, foreign students who want to pursue higher education, including university, must pass an exam administered by ŏSYM. Their answers on the exam will determine whether or not they qualify for the aforementioned scholarships.
